Dru Ealons is the founder and chief executive officer of The Ealons Group, LLC which provides strategic consultation in the areas of strategic engagement, communications and project management. She is also the Chief Editorial Director for www.druealons.com. Prior to starting the consulting firm and launching her blog, Ms. Ealons served as a senior official in President Barack Obama’s Administration at the United States Environmental Protection Agency. Additionally, she served as the director of development for Pathways (a shelter for homeless women and children), and as a diversity and community relations executive for Southern Progress Corporation.
With more than 17 years’ experience in relationship management, fundraising, human resources development and project management, Ms. Ealons provides her clients with strategic plans that enhance their business operations, establish profitable relationships and increase their bottom line.
Ealons resides in the Washington, DC area with her husband and son. She’s active in several community organizations. Ealons is currently serving on the national board of directors for Mocha Moms, Inc and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Melissa Myrie is the Chief Operations Officer of The Ealons Group, LLC. Ms. Myrie brings over 15 years of experience in communications, marketing and promotions, strategic planning, project management and leadership development with her to this position. Ms. Myrie has a long track record of community engagement with volunteers, community members and community leaders in both the for-profit and nonprofit arenas and she enjoys partnering with organizations that want to build a better, stronger society; this is precisely what drew her to The Ealons Group.
Ms. Myrie is committed to serving her community and causes that she cares deeply about. She lives in the Washington, DC area with her husband and daughter. Ms. Myrie is currently serving as Co-President of the Mocha Moms of Silver Spring, Maryland and is in the final stages of obtaining a Masters of Science in Management with a specialization in Nonprofit and Association Management.
